Then, enjoy an extraordinary round of golf on the Coore/Crenshaw classic that is not only the #1 ranked course in Florida, no small feat in this golf-rich region of the world, where soaring dunes form a union with some of the most aesthetically pleasing and challenging golf holes you will find anywhere. Following this inspiring experience, you’ll be greeted off the 18th green by your host who will welcome all to partake in what is becoming a winter tradition; the highly competitive par 3 contest! Your nerves will be soothed by the beverages of your choice from a bar built right on the tee! Hand served, delicious selections from Streamsong Master Chef, Michael Ford await your every turn. When you’ve exhausted your thirst for the joys of playing golf shots, all will gather on the steps of the iconic Streamsong clubhouse for a group photo keepsake that will provide years of sparking stories of your experience! Dinner will be in the grand style of southern hospitality as it is simply impossible that anyone will collapse into the heavenly Streamsong beds in any other state than thoroughly satisfied in the golf, hospitality, fun, food, drink and camaraderie and entertainment that simply is one of the most unique experiences you can find anywhere! But, it’s only DAY ONE!! There’s a reason Matt’s events sell out so quickly!”
“It’s likely that dawn will come knocking a bit earlier than it normally does as there is too much before you in Day 2 of this incredibly unique golfing sojourn to waste it dreaming about how amazing Day 1 was! Shake out the cobwebs and charge downstairs to join Matty for his live broadcast of the Fairways of Life Show! Surely, a recounting of the day before and the fun that lies ahead will be on the show’s rundown. After the show, prepare your body and senses for yet another golfing experience that will stay with you forever, for today you’ll be challenged by Tom Doak’s fantastic golf course! Doak’s course has forged its own unique identity while being woven through the same canvas as the Coore/Crenshaw course you played on Day 1, creating a tapestry of dual masterpieces. Matty calls Doak’s course “…a masterclass in shot making.” Upon the first tee, soaring above the wild and authentic Florida landscape your group will be photographed with your host as Matty just might do some play-by-play of your opening tee shot as he has done in countless major championships! Take your time, breath in how special this experience is, but know that when you are done playing golf, your day is still in its infancy. Guided bass fishing, clay shooting or an ethereal spa experience are all calling you. Maybe another round of golf is your preference, or soaking in the hot tub. When you feel fully refreshed, join Matt and your comrades upstairs for perhaps a cigar and a beverage while watching the majesty of the sunset from atop the Streamsong rooftop lounge Fragmentary Blue and contemplate which of the myriad of culinary delights will assuage your palate this evening.”
Like a crescendo, Day 3 is likely to be the apex of an experience that has been a series of amazing assaults upon your senses as yet. Once again, sunrise brings with it the promise of great things, but not of a long, lingering sleep as so much awaits! Join your brethren for a hearty breakfast to brace you for the massive day ahead, for you are playing the newly minted Gil Hanse Black Course which is already receiving the highest of praise as the finest new course! Hanse used the massive and sprawling landscape to craft a course that is singular not only in comparison to its Streamsong siblings, but against the broadest of interpretations. Matt played the Black Course on its opening day and declared “…never before have I played a new course so instantly suited to its calling. The Black Course is as much of a challenge as you want it to be, while simultaneously as fun a golf experience as I’ve ever had.” It’s rare to play a course of this stature so early in its lifespan for the demand for tee times at the height of the season speaks to the regard that your group is held. Take in all the Black Course has to offer, both bold and nuanced and bath in the knowledge that you are experiencing something that is reserved for a precious few. After your round, you’ll gather back at the Bone Valley Tavern for an experience that may challenge the delights of the one you just had! Grab a cold beverage and join the group for a wild afternoon of fun on Hanse’s brand new putting extravaganza! Eat, drink and hole the putts of your life to your heart’s content and when you are done, your day is not. On this night, you’ll enjoy a luxurious banquet and an extremely rare opportunity, for after dinner Matt and Dom will create a private, live stage version of the Fairways of Life Show (they’ve only done this once before and it was last year at Streamsong).
Don’t miss out! Come out and play on the Fairways of Life 2018 Listeners’ Trip to Streamsong.
